Book Swap

August 31, 2012

It’s so nice when people take the time to send me messages about my work. One thing I enjoy about being an Illustrator is the community spirit within the industry. Things like Twitter and email makes it even easier, with people letting you know if they like what you are doing, or giving advice if you’re struggling. There is a constant online dialogue which, when stuck in a studio all day, can make all the difference.

I was recently contacted by the wonderful Rosanna Murello who is an Illustrator from Italy.  I’ve really enjoyed chatting, swapping notes about cool websites and seeing whats going down over seas. Rosanna has made loads of mini art books and so we decided to do a little book swap. We get to keep each others handy works and another bonus is we get a business card from each other. As you have probably heard in previous posts, I love a good creative business card.

Thanks for the books Rosanna and thanks for saying hi. You can check out more of her work here.
